Nourah Al Hasawi

Nourah Al Hasawi is a Kuwaiti filmmaker, producer, and director with experience across narrative film, documentary, music videos, commercials, and digital media productions. Having worked in a variety of production and leadership roles, including Producer, Line Producer, Unit Production Manager, Production Coordinator, Location Manager, Casting Coordinator, and Director, she has developed a well-rounded understanding of the filmmaking process from development through distribution. Nourah's passion for storytelling began at an early age and led her to pursue filmmaking training at the MetFilm School's Young Filmmakers Academy in the United Kingdom in 2016. She later continued her studies at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Filmmaking in 2020 and a Master of Fine Arts in Producing Film & TV in 2023. Beyond her academic training, Nourah has built her career through hands-on industry experience, working on independent productions across multiple formats and genres. Her work has included producing narrative films, documentaries, music videos, commercial content, and creative media projects, while also managing production logistics, budgets, schedules, locations, and teams both on and off set. Following graduate school, she worked in film development and production, contributing to script evaluation, coverage, project development, industry research, scheduling, and festival outreach. This experience further strengthened her understanding of both the creative and business aspects of the entertainment industry. Known for her collaborative approach, strong organizational skills, and commitment to clear communication, Nourah strives to create positive working environments where creativity and teamwork can thrive. She is passionate about bringing stories to life through meaningful collaboration and continues to develop and produce projects across film, television, and media while supporting the growth of the creative industries within the MENA region and beyond.
