There's a difference between performing a scene and actually living inside one, and that difference is exactly what Method Acting trains you to find. This June INTAJCO is delighted to announce that once again, Salmiya will be playing host to acclaimed filmmaker and acting-coach Dalida Shaheen for a three-day Method Acting workshop. From beginners to professionals alike, this event is for all those who want to hone their skills and are passionate about their craft, whether that’s stage or screen.Dalida Shaheen provides a unique double lens in her coaching. As a filmmaker who grew up in Kuwait and lived in Europe, she has been on both sides of the camera. Performing and conducting. Her idea of teaching acting is the way you actually use acting on set and not just in theory. Her form of Method Acting: building emotional truth from the inside out, through which actors are given usable, practical tools that work in auditions, on stage and in front of the camera.
If you've ever felt like your performance was technically correct but missing something real, this is the workshop built for that exact gap.
Date: June 28–30, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Salmiya – Symphony Mall
